The Tampere shawl pattern finds its inspiration from a photo my brother clicked of the Northern Lights dancing over the city of Tampere in Finland. The auroras have always fascinated me. They are beautiful and almost magical in nature.
The lines, rows of FPdc and BPdc in the pattern are designed to reflect disturbances caused by the solar winds, while the bobbles, the little stars in the dark night.
